Rule 10-6-3. Whether the player being screened could see the screen if she was looking or whether a teammate called out the screen is irrelevant to the call, no matter where the scree is set.

first look looked legal, slow it down I change my mind.....however if I were the official there I would probably lean towards legal as well....

even in super slo-mo we are nitpicking the one setting the pick leaning about an inch or so -- the rule book says completly still YES I know -- but in real world application that minute lean wont be noticed without super-slo mo and it doesnt change the fact that the screen was legal and the defender was going to get creamed.

Initially it looked illegal to me and after replay in slow motion it still looks illegal. IMO, I repeat, IMO, she was leaning into the defender and initiated the contact.

The screener clearly leaned into and to the left.

No way is that screen legal.

First of all, as usual, the announcer displays her idiocy with the "lowered her shoulder" comment. No such thing happened, although she did lean ever so slightly forward. At game speed on the floor, it would have been a tough call either way. With the benefit of the slo-mo replay, I've got a block. I agree with those who say she was sliding laterally.

This was a really tough one. And I think I would call this legal in a game, and I thought it was legal at first the first look. How ever, after I've seen it in slo mo, I agree, she slides before the contact and isn't standing still. Blocking foul

My first instinct was screener is leaning in and over slightly to initiate the contact. Looked at a few more times to try to change my own mind, but it still looks illegal to me. Now, the real issue, for me anyway, is whether I would have got it and called it in real time. This would be a great example for camp or clinic classroom discussion.

Got it paused at 0:22 - not sure which frame.

Damn that thing is illegal all the way to the bank. Refs missed it.
