Jackets at State?

In PA they dropped the wearing of jackets a couple of years ago for playoff games because most jackets have the local chapter name on the jacket. We wear the jackets for all varsity games during the regular season.

Three associations here and each wears their own jacket at State. We are looking into providing jackets which are the same for the entire crew.

This is all dumb to me. I think everyone should wear the same jacket and I hate wearing a shirt with anything on it other than the US flag.

Ohio - everyone wears the OHSAA logo throughout the season. No change for the tournaments.

Of course, there is the zipper vs snaps issue.....

Jackets are pretty much required for all varsity games in Texas, including playoff games. I say "pretty much" because other than getting yelled at (or possibly having assignments pulled), there isn't any enforcement. I've seen guys wear CCA jackets to playoff games, but I doubt that happens much.

For HS, wearing the CCA jacket around here is a big no-no.
