Rule 4-15-1

A dribble is ball movement caused by a player in control who bats (intentionally strikes the ball with the hand(s)) or pushes the ball to the floor once or several times.



Rule 4-14-4-c

The dribble ends when:
c. The dribbler simultaneously touches the ball with both hands.

IOW, you can start the dribble with both hands, but if you touch it with both hands again at the same time, it becomes a new dribble.
