			Not everybody has a rule book handy...so as JR stated, here is 5-9-3: "If a free throw is not successful and the ball is to remain live, the clock shall be started when the ball touches or is touched by a player on the court." Good question Roadking...I have seen all kinds of "chop-ins" on FT's...before, during and after the correct time to start the clock.
