Let's do some calculating...

JR signed up in August of 'aught-1. Let's say on the 17th to make it easy. That was 1,918 days ago.

10,679 ÷ 1,918 = 5.568 posts per day. If you double that, that is post 11 posts per day, you would catch up on 7-Dec-2011.

So, pitter patter, get at'er!

Does the 70th anniversary of Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor have any significance here?

Still I am going to try. But if I never get there I am at peace.

Ever know a preacher to be anything but long winded?

In a preemptive strike: I admit to being long winded but not to being a wind bag.

Not everybody has a rule book handy...so as JR stated, here is 5-9-3:

"If a free throw is not successful and the ball is to remain live, the clock shall be started when the ball touches or is touched by a player on the court."

Good question Roadking...I have seen all kinds of "chop-ins" on FT's...before, during and after the correct time to start the clock.

One sure sign I'm losing focus in a game is when I forget to chop the clock on a missed free throw.
