The Cleveland pitcher is the same guy who started against them a couple years ago when they beat the Yanks 22-0.

At least you haven't lost the first 2 to the Devil Rays. Sheesh.

I heard something on ESPN last night about the 19-1 score being the worst in the Yankees' history. I knew that just didn't sound right. I remember the 22-0 game.

Speaking of those freakin' Cubs...

I was watching the Cubs/Astros game, and Brad Ausmus, the 'Stros catcher, was in the middle of an 0-for-40 slump. It even set an Astros team record for the longest 0-for slump by a position player. I did like his quote: "I've been 0-for-40 before, just not consecutively." He then proceeded to hit one off a diving Ramierez's glove for a base hit, and his "supportive" teammates asked the umpire for the ball. I can only imagine the message that'll be written on it...

I guess being a Cub fan makes me more aware of futility.
