I agree we al use a form of advantage disadvantage. But I think the true point of this post is what comments should be made between official and coach. Is this a propper communication process? I would not say a/d coach loud enough for a fan to hear and more likely wouldn't say anything at that point.

Another example of communication with a coach. You make an offensive foul call on a drive to the basket. As you are reporting the coach is very vocal that the defensive player's feet weren't set (or moving). Is this the time to explain legal gaurding position?

The point is that good communication is an important part of the job butgood communication doesn't mean alot of communication.
