The only one that really bothers me is bouncing to the inbounder under the basket. Can only lead to mishandling and the resulting drama. And there is no reason to cut that corner.
The rest? As long as partners are on the same page and it's not screwing up communication/rotations and our appearance of competence, I do not care one bit. I pregame the long switch, etc for this reason. |

The "hand when you must" was mandated for front court endline throwins. IAABO changed that a few years ago, now IAABO tells us that we can "bounce" at any time, including on the front court endline. I know, I got it wrong on the mechanics portion of my IAABO Refresher Exam a few years ago when they changed the mechanic unannounced.
