Similar to the old one hand reporting (two separate signals) but with one sometimes using two hands for none, one, or both, of the two signals.
This is because the official combines a visible and verbal signal. FIBA resolves this conundrum by having officials display the tens digit facing away from the scorer (with the backs of the hands facing the scorer), and then having the officials flip their hands forward for the ones digit..
