The player is going directly away from Lead and I don't think Lead has a good view of whether the player got legal before contact. I think if Lead blows here he might call it a charge more often, which isn't good for getting the play right. I know the defender is coming from his area, but I'm actually ok with him not guessing here.

This is a secondary defender right in the middle of the paint who starts and ends in L's primary. No reason for him to not have a look at this.

Regardless, T needs to stay far away from this play and certainly not have a primary whistle.
