This is the root of most issues. Especially when someone worked one NCAA-w that one time.

There were officials that did not call it properly or use the right distance regardless of what they had done. HS officials still to this day do not count properly in many cases when a defender is within 6 feet. I do not see the other codes as being the problem. Having bad judgment is the problem as I see it.

Basically what I meant in a roundabout way. Only two times I've run into it were officials who had worked a game or two in NCAAw and then wanted to apply it elsewhere.
