Call for the head coach from each team to join in the pow wow, and you have your information.

In Virginia we still do a players only captains meeting at mid court, usually between the 15 and 10 minute mark, and then meet and greet the coaches in front of their respective benches somewhere around the 2:30 mark of pre-games. At that time I'll ask who the HC is if I don't already know or its not clear.
