Jeff,
I'm talking about the 15-16 book. (I just got mine today, because my New Applicants' class starts Wednesday.) The definition of Goaltending now reads: "Goaltending occurs when a player touches the ball during a field-goal try or tap while the ball is in its downward flight entirely above the basket ring level, has the possibility of entering the basket in flight and is not touching the basket cylinder or a player touches the ball outside the cylinder during a free-throw attempt". The parts highlighted in red have been changed from the 14-15 book. Obviously changing "it" to "the ball" or adding a comma are unimportant. But I like that they've added the part about not touching the basket cylinder.
