BBCOR is getting a Xmas card from me.

3 games in 2 days and not one game over 2:30 hrs, including a 10 inning game. It was great working games where pitchers pounded the zone and hitters had to hit there way on. This change will make for a better game.

9-inning college games? If so, how is the clock working out?

Yes, 9 inning college. The clock wasn't an issue at all. We averaged about 75 secs between innings and the pitchers were throwing between 8-13 secs. Once we got to 18, but that was on a time out granted to a hitter that my partner later said he shouldn't have granted. The coaches had a lot of questions about it at the plate meeting. We just told them, just play a great game of baseball and if you get any where near the tome limits we will let you know. Had zero issues.

That's why I think NCAA should have held off on using the clock for one more season - the BBCOR bats might just take care of the pace of play all by themselves, without us having to watch the clock and listen for the beep!
