Official Scorekeeper

Looking for comments on how do deal with the following situation.

After a game, a person comes up to the umpires and introduces herself as "the official scorekeeper". Then proceeds to tell us that there were several instances when the plate umpires strike count was different then hers and she was wondering what the procedure was for her to get us to change our count. I tried explaining that the plate umpire has the final decision with regards to the count but may refer to the official scorekeeper if there is some confusion, however, she was insisting that because she was the official scorekeeper, her count was the correct one.

I don't know about anyone else, but if I hear someone from the crowd asking for time, I don't even turn around.

Am I wrong?
