I meant use the wrist bands to cover the shin guard. I did not mean to use the wrist bands as an accessory.

Applying the fact that injuries don't always occur during jacket or long sleeve weather and the shiny shinnies don't need to be exposed.

This is what I do in cool weather. Any suggestions for warm weather?

Some long-sleeve shirts have the fabric that wicks, so you can even wear it in the heat and not be too bad off. If I am injured in the forearm and wear a guard (rare), I wear a long-sleeve, irrespective of the heat. I even have a cream long-sleeve.

Smile Soccer Shin

Tried on my sons old soccer shin guard and it fits pretty good! Now all I need is two or one large navy sweat band to secure it and were ready to go.
