As Gramps said, the proper scoring is E2 - BUT, the batter is NOT charged with an at bat.

Unless....

The conditons are met for disregarding the CI, OR the offense elects to take the result of the play rather than the penalty. Then you just score the play as you would had the CI not occurred.

There are a couple of people who post regularly there who are just NAILS when it comes to scoring rules, while most of the participants on this board find such questions annoying at best.
