It's a cut and dried case of catchers interference. He stepped right into the batter as he was attempting to strike the pitch. The batter did nothing wrong here......

Why would you even suggest that this is batter interference?

If I'm the manager I'm going to take the play rather than the interference seeing as R3 scored.

Uhhh, Tim,

You might want to "rethink" that. Looks like a blatant 7.07 violation to me.

jc,

Maybe he's just indulging his penchant for "...playing devil's advocate...sometimes".

Or maybe he's never actually seen a baseball game.

I wonder of there's any significance to the fact that his "join date" was April Fool's.

As to the essential question of whether or not this was a "good call", I have no idea because I can't tell what the umpire (the guy standing behind the pitcher wearing a ball bag???) actually called on this play.

I'm sorry.

I just thought that an official that has done higher level ball than Garth would know this.

How silly of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably a good thing I'm not a coach anymore then. I tried it when Matt and Zack were little, but it didn't take.

7.07

I'm right on this one.....

Earlier I thought the batter was blocking the catcher but when I watched it again.....

it's a catchers balk with a runner on 3rd.....

What's wrong with you?

Can you show me pictures of you calling this
