I agree.

The same applies, imo, to the other "trivia thread".

They're both still light years ahead of the crap being spewed between several esteemed members of this august body.

Oh -- the answer to the OP: Zero, as others have said, although it might depend on what exactly is being asked (all of a team's pitchers in a game or any specific pitcher? what is meant by "can face"?)

most people who watch baseball reguarly will be able to answer it..

So why ask it?

Actually, it's possible to pitch a 9-inning perfect game and never face a batter.

Abel refuses to enter the batter's box and is called out by the umpire. Baker refuses to enter the batter's box and is . . .

When the first batter refused to enter the batter's box, and was called out, "TIME". "Manager/coach, if your players are going to make a travesty of this game, I will declare a forfeit. Your next batter to refuse to enter the batter's box, and this game is over. There will be NO discussion".
