Nice Quick Trivia Brainteaser

Q: What is the LEAST amount of batters one team's pitcher(s) can face before the game is over??

(provided there is No rainout, no post-poned game- just a normal game)

The answer to your ambiguous question, whatever it means, is zero.

Not confusing so much as more than likely a stupid trick question intended to make those who guess at it look foolish. It is also vapid, boorish, uninspired, and totally meaningless. Other than that it's a fine question indeed, sir.

Here's another brain-teaser for you.....

"Crusify" isn't a word. What is the correct spelling?

Here is the answer your looking for: zero.

Winning team brings in relief pitcher with two outs in the bottom of the last inning with a runner on first. Pitcher then picks off the runner ending the game without ever throwing a pitch so he never officially faced a batter.

We can now close the thread.

I agree.

The same applies, imo, to the other "trivia thread".

They're both still light years ahead of the crap being spewed between several esteemed members of this august body.

Oh -- the answer to the OP: Zero, as others have said, although it might depend on what exactly is being asked (all of a team's pitchers in a game or any specific pitcher? what is meant by "can face"?)

most people who watch baseball reguarly will be able to answer it..

So why ask it?

Actually, it's possible to pitch a 9-inning perfect game and never face a batter.

Abel refuses to enter the batter's box and is called out by the umpire. Baker refuses to enter the batter's box and is . . .

god I hate trolls that use text message style on websites. The height of being lazy . . . (and a weak attempt at being cool.)
