Appeal play
Had this play an hour ago and need some help.
Situation. R1 and R2, 1 out. B1 hits fly ball to F9 which is caught. R3 and R2 are tagging. Throw comes to home where it is cut off by the pitcher. Defense appeals R2 left early which I upheld, 3 outs. Does the run score ? My partner (PU) allowed the run, which I agree with, and the coach protested the game. Can you give me a rule ref. too please, can't find similar play in casebook or BRD. Thanks!
