Ice, with the Davis guards, try this:
1. If they're quite dusty after a game, keep a water spray bottle handy and simply squirt some onto the guards, especially the crevices and all. 2. Also use a little Fabreeze on them to keep them from getting all scummy. FWIW, I also use Fabreeze on my caps after every game. It keeps the sweat stains from building up and keeps the dirt from settling in. While I buy new caps every year, I have extended the life of them when using Fabreeze. |
