Sounds like the kind of game I get once or twice a week.

After 4 shots to the arm, perhaps you should have told the coaches that you were going to call the game from behind the mound. You are perfectly within your rights by rule to do so. If the coach thinks it's cute to throw in a catcher who has never caught before, it indicates to me that he has no regard for your safety whatsoever.

My hat goes off to the umpires who face this caliber of play often and are still able to maintain consistency. I know that my consistency deteriorated in that second game, even before I moved behind F2.
