Over four days without a single post on this board!!

As my neighbor would say, "Where y'all at?"

RE: Where Y'll AT?

Hey Mike,

I am back from my five day dental experience. Uuuuuuggggg.
Hate dentist. [Hope none of you fit into that category].
Missed my tournament while I was getting this work done,
so I have nothing to offer. Do have a Tournament this up
coming weekend. Have been told there are 42 teams in it.
Will post if anything happens.

A 5-day dental experience?!?!?! Yuck. I just had an abcessed tooth yanked and that was bad enough.

Mike,
Its deer season and I'm in the woods every chance I get. I do check the boards on the days/nights I'm stuck working. Such bad habits to have, I know.

Glenn,
I hope you had insurance. Just got through settling bills from a tractor accident that involved a collision between my face and a limb. Did you know surgons make more than $50 per stich? That sure cuts into your game fees quickly!!!

RE: Dental Work

I was very fortunate. I got into a program being
conducted by UT {grin}, the University of Texas at
Houston. Sudents needing to do certain work bid on
the jobs [people needing the work] and then do it
for a very reduced rate. The only minor set back
was that I was required to be there the entire week,
each day from 8:00 to 5:00. I live 131 miles from
the place. It rained every day. On this program they
have qualified Doctors there all the time. Works real
well.

Glen........glad to see you back.......and to Roger......OUCH.

I think I commented back in July that a 9 hour stint in the Hospital for my youngest this summer (broken arm) game to over $5,200........this excluded the orthopedic surgeon.....just hospital and anesthesia fees.

After discounts and everything through the insurance company.........the total bill was about $1,400. I think it cost me about $100 bucks. I felt very fortunate.
