Four Man system

I'm going to have to do a 4 man game next week, and having never done one can someone give a good link to a mechanics download. Or simply give me basic rules and coverages, for all spots since I haven't been assigned a position yet, Most likely 2nd.

Thanks

If you have or can obtain a PBUC Manual (formerly known as NAPBL Manual) it covers 4 man mechanics.

Apples have a good solid pre-game with your crew just to make sure all of you are on the same page with rotations, coverage, etc. Worry about the 90% of regular plays and hope nothing bazzar happens.

BTW would this be for the Prentice Cup?

Ideed it will be.

I've heard now I'm on the plate so that's cool. There will be a pre-game meeting and all will be discussed, just hoping to do a little pre event studying.

Check out the American Legion web site. Go to the umpires page and at the end of it they show positioning for most plays from two man up to four man.

Hey-
I asked this very same question of the OBA last week after a horribly botched rotation in one of my games.
Stevenson said that the OBA doesn't have thier 4man interp. book (that tall white book that used to come with our 'blue book') anymore.
Try Wilhelm- I know he has a bunch of copies from the Windsor Nationals.

Bainer.

I can't imagine this. You didn't have any fly balls to the outfield?
