Coach location
Had a chapter meeting and a disagreement/discussion about coach on the bench (NFHS rules). Is it permissible for a coach (head coach or assistant) to sit on the bench beyond the end line?
My thought was that coaches must stay between the attack line and the end line but I can't find any rule that addresses this. The rule book says that the head coach may stand during play as long as s/he is between the attack line and end line and is at least six feet from the sideline. |
