Confusion during Libero replacement
Team A wins a rally and rotates for the next service. Libero enters the court and A18 exits. Libero expects to serve in A18's place. Coach then realizes that A18 is not the next server. So A18 re-enters the game and Libero leaves.
Is that legal? |

Not under NCAA-W rules -- the libero must remain in for one rally. |

That means that Team A will immediately have a position fault, right? Because the Libero will be in the front row, since A18 hadn't rotated to back row yet.
This actually happened in my match today, btw. We didn't do anything, so we blew it, obviously. |

If they can fix it so that it doesn't cause a delay, let them fix it. A18 is presumably still in the front row, so the libero *can't* replace her.
If there's no delay in fixing it, let it go. If A18 has gotten back to the bench area, we have an illegal replacement, team delay warning, put A18 back on the court, and resume play with the correct server.

Under NCAAW Rules, if you identify the illegal libero replacement before the contact of service, it's a TDW. After the contact of serve, loss of rally.
