Signal 1 - Illegal alignment
New in this year's case book, this signal is to be given for "An Inaccurate Lineup."
can someone give me an example of when this would occur that we would signal this? If the lineup is late it's a YUD (or RUD). If the wrong players are listed, it's corrected with a sub. If the libero number is wrong, it's just changed. If numbers are duplicated, then a sub (or changing the libero) works. What's left? |

I have no clue what an inaccurate lineup is or means. I'll just continue to use this signal for an out-of-rotation call or an illegal server. Yet another "oopsie" by a NFHS rules writer, IMO.
