Screw this weather

I know I have had terrible spring rains that have caused league delays.......but we have had maybe 3 inches of rain since February........

It is now two a.m. and 79.8 degrees..........we have set every record in the book for heat and no rainfall for the summer.......

I have had to sell off quite a few cattle.......and supplement the rest with rice straw..........This is the worst it has ever been........

Sorry for the rant.....I just could not help it............

At least the remainders have a bit of shade....

Looks like a great venue for a ballfield.

Damn, Joel... That just sucks, man.

Hopefully, things will get better soon.

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Joel....I was just wondering where you were managing to find any green in Texas. I had pretty much forgotten what the color looked like.

We did get some rain on the Northern Tier last night, and now, by Texas standards, it is downright cold. 52 degrees. Looks like down your way the rains were hit and miss. Did you get any????

I had a lady friend from Florida down last week........we got a tenth of an inch of rain.........Hobby airport in Houston got 6 inches........last time she was here in March we got an inch......I am thinking of hiring her as a rain maker..........

I am ready to just give up......my brother and his wife are coming in from NoCal at the of the week......I hope they bring us some relief.........lol

I am working like a dog at my Mom's who is fixin to get her 2nd new hip and a new knee on Nov 1.

I thought retirement would make things easier...........d;-) (10 cents to mike).
