Pouncing for a cheap shot? Just trying to keep ignorance in check. There is history here. I guess the wording of his original response was fine with you, but not me. Had he been hopelessly ignorant about an ASA rule, you probably would not be coming to his defense. Read his previous posts.

My advice to him would be to stay in the shallow end of the pool until he he no longer needs his floaties.

I was going to be happy to get one serious/helpful answer and I was right. Thanks, Steve.

Please knock off the garbage so those who care can find useful comments (about umpiring, softball, or at least beer).
