NCAA DeMarini Phenix

(NCAA Community College) Was presented with a DeMarini Phenix last night could not find (nor could the coach show me) any CFPx (model number) or CFx (-xx) Model on the bat.
It had ASA 2004.
I didn't allow it (despite the fact that the coach assurred me it had been allowed in the previous 38 games his team had played

)

Anyone familiar with this bat?
