A quick perusal of the NYSPHSAA handbook I made was an eye opener - the division of Fed and non Fed sports is totally along gender lines - just about every competitive male team sport is NFHS, and EVERY competitive female team sport is non-Fed....interesting....and no coincidence, I am sure....
