gone illegal pitchees gone

I have noticed that the number of pitchers committing illegal pitches has almost reached an epidemic level of zero in my area (Northern VA). I noticed this about a 2 months ago when working a tournament and saw the same thing in the next two tournaments. Today, I went by a halloween tournament and saw no illegal pitches. Pitchers are actually dragging there foot.

What are you guys seeing in your area?

Seeing and calling just as many as always. Not dragging the foot is not the only element that makes up an IP.

It's similiar to people who speed while driving. When they get caught, they stay at the posted speed while driving in the area they were caught breaking the rules.

I guess teams know better in our area to break the rules. Cuz, other than an occasional double tap, the leap is on the danger of becoming extinct in NO VA. The 16u and 14u have completely forgot how to leap. It is a pleasure to watch the foot turn on the rubber and the girls push and drag. Reminds me of what happened 20-25 years ago when I played.
