DP/Flex
NFHS rules - The DP can replace anyone on defense any time, any number of times while the FLEX player may replace the DP any time, any number of times.
If DP goes in on defense for any player other than the FLEX, does an official notification need to be made? If the DP goes in for the FLEX, the Flex has "left the game" so a notification to the umpire is made. How many times can the Flex re-enter(not substitution)... For example, can the FLEX and DP swap on defense every other inning?
