I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Hey GreenSuedeBlue...was it a day game or night game? That would make a difference.

Thank you. I think I understand better now why the umpire called it the way he did. How can I become an umpire? Does it cost anything or is there a test?

If you have already had your lobotomy, there is no charge.

There are many different ways to get started. If you want to call just rec games, contact your local parks and rec and start there. However, the training in those departments is minimal, and they won't teach you all you need to know to be successful (and, thus, have fewer problems).

I'd recommend getting in touch with your local or state UIC. You may look them up here.

To get registered, yes, it does cost, and that varies from location to location. There is a test, and it's not an easy one to take. We take it every year.

Remember my post earlier: Have a nice day. Same guy different name. If walks like a ____, smells like _____ and talks like a ____ . Well guess what it is?
