Has anyone seen both the Pro 9 and the Honig's K1 side by side? They look very similar, but a big difference in price.

I use the K1, and the rest of my plate gear, for all my softball and baseball games. I've done BB and SB from ages 9-18 with it and it works great for me.

One thing you shouldn't try is going cheap and buying whatever is lying around. The extra $20 you might spend could save you from a very expensive trip to the E.R.
