Tremendous junior high game
Have to brag about my junior high game today.
Maybe half the girls starting for each team play on travel teams. Others were mainly refugees from PE class. One hour, fifteen minutes. 2-1, seven innings. 28 Ks (15 for one team, 13 for the other). WP had a two-hit shutout until one out in bottom of seventh when she gave up a dinger. Besides her 15 Ks, she had four 1-3 putouts. SS caught a line drive, 3B made a great catch on a little looper to end the game.
