Tremendous junior high game

Have to brag about my junior high game today.

Maybe half the girls starting for each team play on travel teams. Others were mainly refugees from PE class.

One hour, fifteen minutes. 2-1, seven innings. 28 Ks (15 for one team, 13 for the other). WP had a two-hit shutout until one out in bottom of seventh when she gave up a dinger. Besides her 15 Ks, she had four 1-3 putouts. SS caught a line drive, 3B made a great catch on a little looper to end the game.

wow... sounds great.... me personally I like getting those type of games done in 50 minutes. (more beer drinking time afterwards)

Ya gotta love those 7/8th grade games where you see most of the kids show up with their travel team gear bags/helmets, etc - early supper tonight!

Yah, and even better almost all the select players came from the same two teams. Glad to see those Reign and Lady Shark helmets when I got to the field.
