In Indiana NSA tournaments, we go 3 warm ups first inning, 1 thereafter and infield ball first inning only. Of course this is still to be done within the 1 minute.
Its stated to coaches and or teams in pregame. At start of first inning when i see catcher, I usually say "she gets 3." Then at start of second innind i usually say "1 from now on." Never a problem. If I see a coach come out to warm up F1, i will say she only gets 3 (or 1) TOTAL. They will ask for a clarification and then choose to or not to take it.
