If I were actually from there area, maybe I might be offended (at least mock offended, anyway). But being that I'm originally from WI, I'm still going with my previous statement.

It's 69 degrees, and I'm about to suit up for another night at the ol' ball park. No jacket.

Though I am getting tired of getting my shins chewed up by bad catchers who miss the ball, so I'm adding some soccer shin guards under my pants. The ball always seems to find that one spot on my shin bone...

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

No sense being offended by animal species if you don't have sense enough to wear shin guards.

I am, indeed.

And the shin guards sure came in handy tonight, too. I called two games of Coed C (mostly first-time players) and one of Coed B (actually, really good ball players). I took a couple in the shins behind the plate, and those shin guards certainly helped.
