Illegal Bat
ASA Slow Pitch. What's the difference between rule 7.6.B and 7.6.C? Wouldn't all altered or non approved bats be considered illegal. I'm trying to figure out if i kicked a ruling on an illegal bat tonight.
I removed the bat from the game and rung up the batter, which is what 7.6.C calls for, I get home look it up and find 7.6.B there. Now I'm confused. |

7-6-B An altered bat is a bat that was legal and has been altered after the time of manufacture, except as otherwise specifically provided in 3-1. This rule also includes bats on the non-approved list.
7-6-C An illegal bat is a bat that was never legal to begin with. IOW a baseball bat, etc. 7-6-B is a big no no. 7-6-C is just a no no. |

If it was slow pitch, my guess is you kicked the call because he was cheating and needed to be ejected.
If it was rec league and little suzie walked up with her brothers little league bat... little bit different.
