What rules? ASA? USSSA? NFHS? NCAA?

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Which differences would you be concerned about?

Well, it does make a difference. If he's only calling NFHS, I'd hate to give him a reference to an ASA SP mechanic.

NFHS first year sub-varsity FP, If I like it, there's plenty of oppurtunnities to work ASA this summer. Still trying to taken and understand basic rules and mechanics. I do have the Officials manual but I was just looking for quick reference material.

Then wouldn't that be a difference in game, not sanctioning body?

Yes, but we narrowed it down quickly, didn't we?

I meant this Q literally, because I work 5 sanctions, and I wondered what you or others see as the problems.

Well, SP base mechanics are fairly different from FP mechanics. Now, I don't do FP myself, nor do I go outside of ASA. However, if I happened to google up a site that gave the mechanics, I'd want to know that the reference I'd be giving this individual would be appropriate for the sanctioning body and level of play he'd be calling. I'd hate to point him to a site that tells him to park his butt behind F4 with runners on, you know?

So I'm guessing the answer to the question in the OP is "not that I know of."?
