Not to worry. Hillary will fix it.

That's true - she & Teddy put it together the first time. Maybe they'll get it better the second time around. Yeah, right.

Well, we don't have the final final final, but...
I'm alive, I'm out of the hospital. I am barred from flying for four days because the nuclear stuff they put in me would set off these sensors and cause the terminal to be evacuated.

And, yes, for those pundits waiting anxiously to reply, I also cannot take an airplane.

It was scary, and Sean's right, it was probably about a minute before that bunt attempt was made when I started feeling the pains. We asked one of the coaches in the first base dugout if they had a parent who was a nurse or anything. We were very fortunate to have a dad who was an off-duty fireman who felt the need that day to bring his kit with him to the ballyard.

I think I might have scared him, too. My BP was 180/130 and heart rate was well over 100. With all the drugs I take, these are abnormally high to say the least.

One last thing: where can I get one of those indicators?

We had an umpire who had a good news/bad news thing. He was going to work his first national. And, it was 10Us. I told him that he had gotten the plum assignment, and he looked at me like I was crazy (which I am, and have papers to prove it).

I told him to pray for hot weather all week, and then he knew I was totally f****n insane.

Oh, you;ll be the happiest umpire around, I told him. The MILF factor alone was going to make him a happy man.

I saw him Labor Day weekend. He came over, smiled, shook my hand, and told me I was right.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts.

Sorry, that's an NC Special. I photoshopped an indicator from Honig's and posted it on my server. Maybe I can convince Honig's to start carrying them? You could always take an existing indicator, sand down the "Innings" text, paint that section black and find a really good white-out pen.

Anything involving the heart can be scary. I had acute pericarditis once, and I thought I was going to fall over dead. Can't tell you how many times I was asked if I did cocaine while in the E.R., since that's one of the most common causes of heart problems in young, single men (and hell, I've never even touched cocaine... I've never even smoked pot!).

So scary thoughts aside, we're glad to see you're okay, and I hope this is a once-in-a-blue-moon thing for you.

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Not that often, I pray. How about never again?

Well, considering I've never seen a blue moon, let's hope for that likelihood, too.

They come in a brown bottle & taste pretty good with a slice of orange.

All kidding aside, it's good to hear you're OK & they think they have a handle on it.

Notice how those commercials have disappeared since Miller went into the fruit-flavored beer business?

Sounds like it is about as much fun as SOX and FDA requirements.

bkbjones, here's praying every thing will be OK in the long run!

'Course, last Friday at this time I felt fine...
