I am with Andy on the way I do it. I also make a fist with both hands and they are slightly higher than waist level in the down position. My hands hardly ever get hit and it seems more natural for me to get into proper position with my hands placed this way. Also it keeps me from leaning forward too far if I concentrate on my hand position. Dave

I put in front of your junk. I tend to make a fist and rest my arms high on my thigh. That puts my hands right in front of the boys. I had a game Monday night that called for my cup to be used at least 6 times. My partner laughed pretty hard when he heard the dreaded "thunk"!

Dear SRW,
You left out a choice - the one favored by HFI - covering your manboobs with your hands. Mine is usually with hands on upper thigh and keeping those wings in. Also known for wide stance, especially helpful when you get the opportunity to work 4 10U plates in a row.
