ASA Question #26

This is exactly as question #26 appears on the 2007 ASA test:

(SP Only) In a Men's Class D Slow Pitch game, B1 hits an over the fence homerun. The umpire should rule:

a. B1 is out for exceeding the home run limit for Class D Slow Pitch
b. B 1 is awarded a homerun.
c. B1 is out and the inning is over regardless of the number of outs.
d. None of the above.

I would say the answer is (a). ASA gives the answer as (c).

I don't have the 2007 book yet, but I can't believe that (c) is correct. Anybody know for sure?
