SP co-ed question
Our first game of the season was good, we won (16-11). I pitched good ball for my first time pitching ever. This week we got spanked (20-6). The Umpire (at the beginning of the game) drew a line in the dirt at the pitchers plate (wasn't like this at our first game) and said I had to be behind it when I startedto pitch the ball. I could step over as I pitched. It threw me all off wack. I know that is a weak excuse, but it was unexpected and I couldn't pitch like I did the first game. I was nervous I'd start over the line and my pitches were all over the place.
Anyone tell me how to beat this the next time we get this ump? |

Where was it and what on earth was this
line supposed to represent ? If the pitching rubber was not at the correct distance, then maybe that's what happened ??
