Something that is obvious, especially at the collegiate level, should be called.
If not sure, or seen in warm-ups, yeah, I could understand an umpire saying something to the pitcher while cleaning the PP, but not outright discussion which smacks of "coaching". OTOH, shouldn't an NCAA rules questions be posted on a "Coach's Board"? ![]()
