Interestingly enough, Fed has this same wording problem. The rule book sez fielder and the case book sez infielder. I spoke to a rules committee member and he said the missed it on the case book. So, for Fed purposes, this would be interference if F9 had a play.
Mike, several of us were down your way yesterday - did a game at the Vet for the Carpenter's Cup series.
