Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions. I am currently a HS/Legion Baseball Umpire and I'm looking to add another sport to officiate. I'm not a big fan of football, so I really have no interest in doing that, although that is a popular choice in the south. I got to watch a few of the World Cup matches this past summer and kind of caught the bug to maybe officiate soccer. The problem is, I know practically nothing about soccer and don't have any idea where to start as to become an official. Any information any of you can provide will be very beneficial in pointing me in any kind of direction.
