As described I'd have INT because R1 drew the throw while on the base path. Had R1 simply walked off the field after the no catch and the defense threw to the plate then that would be different. Jim

Personnaly I'd like to see the NBA,NCAA,NFL...
Personnaly I'd like to see the NBA,NCAA,NFL etc... put wording in their next TV contracts that when a commentator gets it (a rule) wrong that a public correction be made during their next broadcast....

Mike, where do you find those cute little thingies? My take on this rule is that since the ASA has created a seperate category of obstruction for catchers that the intent is to protect the offense...
