Dropped bat hits fair ball-

Since day 1 I have been told "bat hits ball-batter out", ball hits bat-Nothing. I was challenged to find this in writting. ASA 7-K-2 is great for the ball hits bat part, but ASA 7-6-I doesn't cover...

Retouch home after leaving field

ASA- Is it legal to retouch home after leaving the field. If no, how should Ump handle. Let it happen and see if defense appeals it, or call runner out as soon as she reenters the field ?

Same question came up in our ASA Ump class...

Same question came up in our ASA Ump class tonight. Federated Umps think you can't run back to a base once you cross home, and ASA umps were saying yes you can as long as you retouch home.

Outfielder position/distance from batter

Does anyone know of an ORGANIZATION not a local league that has a restriction on how close the outfielders can be to the batter? Commonly I think its a Co-ed, or Senior thing.

Pitcher balk ?- throw to 1st

My understanding is while on the rubber a pitcher must step to 1st when throwing on a pick-off. If the pitcher just lifts his pivot foot and throws without a step to first.. or even just jumps up...

If the runner would have slid, she would not have reached home because of the OBS. Since she elected to crash not slide does that negate the OBS ? I would have OBS'd and ejected.
